Dear ,
Thank you for your generous gift of $ to help protect Africa's wildlife and wild places. Your support will do so much to protect some of the world's most endangered species, including elephants, rhinos, lions and gorillas, while also ensuring sustainable livelihoods for local communities who share and depend upon these wild landscapes.
African Parks is the only non-profit conservation organization that takes on the long-term management of national parks and protected areas on behalf of governments, and is a proven and effective model for saving wildlife. With 14 parks in nine countries currently under management, we are working to prevent Africa's conservation crisis by protecting and preserving more than 10.5 million hectares of critical wild and functioning ecosystems.
Your support helps us effectively manage and protect these vast, wild landscapes, whether through wildlife monitoring, mitigating human-wildlife conflict, supporting local communities, and especially in mobilizing and equipping the largest counter-poaching force of any NGO on the continent. With more than 1,000 rangers on the ground, we are constantly safeguarding wildlife populations and preventing and responding to the most urgent threats facing both people and wildlife across the continent.
With you as our partner, we are working to achieve our vision of 20 national parks and protected areas under management by 2020. Thank you for joining forces with us to support this critical mission; we could not do this work without your help.
Sincerely,
Peter FearnheadCEOAfrican Parks
