When our children have a safe reliable place to learn and grow while we’re on the job, all Hoosier communities are strengthened. But during the COVID-19 pandemic, your child may not have had consistent access to the high-quality early education that will help them succeed in school and beyond. Indiana's new Build, Learn, Grow scholarship fund helps families connect to the care and education children need. And for qualified families, the program can cover up to 80% of care costs for children up to age 12. Through the Build, Learn, Grow scholarship fund, you can connect to the early care and education your child needs. Essential workers include: A family member qualifies as an essential worker, meaning they work in healthcare and public health operations, human services operations, essential governmental functions, essential infrastructure, retail businesses, restaurants or food service, education, charitable and religious entities, media and many other industries such as those found HERE.
